4 Yard Skip Hire

Skip hire includes delivery, collection and up to 14 days hire. If you need to keep it longer, Excel Waste reserves the right to charge £50 per week after the first 14 days. The maximum rental period with no movement is one month, after which the skip will be collected.

The 4 yard skip is suitable for small domestic projects, bathroom renovations, bedroom clearances and smaller amounts of rubbish or rubble. It holds around 40 bin bags, or roughly 13 wheelie bins. Hazardous items cannot go in the skip. This includes TVs, computer monitors, asbestos, tyres, fluorescent tubes, fridges and freezers, paint or paint tins unless empty, batteries, medical waste, gas cylinders, liquids, solvents, oil, petrol, diesel and explosives. Plasterboard also cannot be mixed with general waste. If you are unsure about an item, call the team before booking.

If a skip is placed on private land, such as a driveway, you will not usually need a permit. If it needs to go on a public road or highway, a valid skip permit is required by law. Contact Excel Waste before booking if you need help checking placement or permit requirements.
