10 Yard Skip Hire

Skip hire includes delivery, collection and up to 14 days hire. If you need to keep it longer, Excel Waste reserves the right to charge £50 per week after the first 14 days. The maximum rental period with no movement is one month, after which the skip will be collected.

The 10 yard skip is suitable for large clearances of light rubbish, office clearances and bulky non-hazardous waste. It holds around 100 bin bags, or roughly 32 wheelie bins. Heavy materials such as hardcore, brick, soil, rubble and inert waste are not accepted in this skip. Hazardous items cannot go in the skip. This includes TVs, computer monitors, asbestos, tyres, fluorescent tubes, fridges and freezers, paint or paint tins unless empty, batteries, medical waste, gas cylinders, liquids, solvents, oil, petrol, diesel and explosives. Plasterboard also cannot be mixed with general waste. If you are unsure about an item, call the team before booking.

If a skip is placed on private land, such as a driveway, you will not usually need a permit. For this skip size, on-road permits are not available because 8 yard skips and larger are not allowed on roads. Please contact Excel Waste if you need clarification before booking.
